India's Sania Mirza today ended her 2012 season on a disappointing note after she and her Spanish partner Nuria Llagostera Vives suffered a straight-set loss in the summit clash of the China Open in Beijing. The fifth seeded pair lost 5-7 ,5-7 to third seeded Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in the women's doubles finals. In other action, world number one Victoria Azarenka set up a final date in women's singles with Maria Sharapova after the top two seeds enjoyed comprehensive victories in their semi-finals in Beijing today. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France moved into the men's singles final.
