Sania Mirza and her partner Elena Vesnina have entered the semi-finals of the women's doubles in the Wimbledon Tennis championships. In the quarter-finals of the prestigious grand slam tournament in London today, the fourth seeded Indo-Russian pair defeated the Spanish duo of N Llagostera Vives and A Parra Santonja of Spain in three sets 3-6, 6-4, 7-5. In the mixed doubles competition today, while the Indian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza will play their second round match, the Indo-Russian combination of Mahesh Bhupathi and Elena Vesnina will be seen in action in the third round.All the four men's quarter-finals are also slated for today.
