Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her doubles partner Barbora Strycova from Czech Republic moved to the semifinals of the WTA Wuhan Open today. The Indo-Czech pair claimed a 6-3, 7-6 win over the Hungarian-Kazakhstan team Timea Babos and Yaroslava Shvedova. They will next face Chinese Taipei duo of Chan Yung-Jan and Chan Hao-Ching for a place in the final. Sania and Strycova joined forces at the Cincinnati Open for the first time after splitting with Swiss star Martina Hingis last month.
