Sania Mirza and her Romanian partner Edina Gallovits have won the WTA doubles title in the International Women's Open at Guangzhou, China. Sania and Edina beat local favourites Xinyun Han and Wanting Liu 7-5 6-3 in the summit clash of the 220 thousand US dollar hard court event on Sunday. It is Sania Mirza's ninth WTA doubles title. Her maiden Grand Slam title came last year when she won the mixed doubles event of the Australian Open along with Mahesh Bhupathi.
