In Melbourne, the pair of Sania-Pascual lost to the seventh-seeded Russian-Italian combination of Alisa Kleybanova and Francesca Schiavone 4-6, 3-6.The lone Indian hope in the main event now rests on Leander Paes, who is due to play his pre-quarterfinal match in the men's doubles competition on Monday. The third seeded Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy will be up against unseeded Americans John Isner and Sam Querrey.
