Sania Mirza and her Swiss team-mate Martina Hingis have stormed into the semi-finals of the WTA Aegon International Tennis tournament at Eastbourne, United Kingdom. In the quarter-finals, the top seeded Indo-Swiss pair beat Hao-Ching Chan of Chinese Taipei and her Italian partner Flavia Pennetta, 4-6, 6-3, 10-6. For a place in the Final, Sania and Hingis will take on the French-Slovenian team of Caroline Garcia and Katarina Srebotnik. Aegon Tennis tournament is is generally considered as a warm-up for the Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the season, which will begin on Monday.
