Sania Mirza-Martina Hingis storm into Aegon International semis

The top-seeded pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis has entered the semifinals of the WTA Aegon International tennis tournament. At Eastbourne, the Indo-Swiss duo got the better of the unseeded combo of Taipei's Hao-Ching Chan and Flavia Pennetta from Italy in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 10-6. In the semifinal tomorrow, the Indo-Swiss pair will take on Caroline Garcia and Katarina Srebotnik. In the ATP Aegon Open at Nottingham, the top seeded Indo-Spanish pair of Leander Paes and Marcel Granollers was knocked out today. In the quarter-finals, Paes and Granollers, the 100th partner of the Indian, lost against unseeded Australian-Brazilian team of Chris Guccione and Andre Sa in three sets. Both the grass court tournaments are the last before the Grand Slam Wimbledon championships, which begin on Monday.
