Sania Mirza and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina have bowed out of the women's doubles competition in the Wimbledon Tennis championships in London. In the semi-finals today, the Indo-Russian pair lost against the duo of K. Peschke of Czech Republic and K. Srebotnik of Slovenia in straight sets 3-6, 1-6. In the mixed doubles matches today, the pair of Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza, the duo of Leander Paes and Cara Black and the combination of Mahesh Bhupathi and Elena Vesnina will be figuring in the quartear-finals. The men's singles semi-finals are being played today.
