Sania Mirza and her Zimbabwean partner Cara Black enter the finals of doubles event in the WTA Championship also known as WTA Finals held at Singapore. In semi finals, they fought a see saw battle against Slovenian Katarina Serbotnik and Kveta Peschke from Czech Republic but emerged victorious through tie breaker 4-6, 7-5, 11-9. They will take on the pair of Hsieh Su-wei of Taiwan and Shuai Peng from China in the finals.In Singles event, Romanian Simona Halep brush aside polish Agnieszka Radwanska to reach final. World number four Halep outclassed Radwanska as she registered victory in straight sets of 6-2, 6-2. Earlier in the day, the defending champion Serena Williams from US entered the final by defeating Danish Caroline Wozniacki 2-6, 6-3, 7-6. The singles final is slated for sunday. The 18-time Grand Slam-winner Serena, is seeking her third straight victory at the end-of-season championship, and will play Halep in finals — four days after her humiliating 6-0, 6-2 loss to the Romanian.
