Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis have lifted the Women's Doubles trophy of the Indian Wells Open Tennis tournament at California. In the title clash late last night, the top seeded Indo-Swiss team sailed past the Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina, in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. It was Sania's 24th career title, and the second Doubles trophy this year. In the Men's Singles, top two seeds, world number one Novak Djokovic and number two Roger Federer have stormed into the final. In the semi-finals, while Djokovic defeated Andy Murray, 6-2, 6-3, Federer beat Milos Raonic, 7-5, 6-4. The final will be played later today.
