Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis continued their dream run of form, winning their 28th doubles match in a row today after they overcame Chen Liang and Shuai Peng 6-2, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of Sydney International Tennis tournament. The run of 28 consecutive wins equals the world record for the longest doubles winning streak since Gigi Fernandez and Natasha Zvereva won 28 matches in a row together back in 1994. Mirza and Hingis had eased past Anastasia Rodionova and Arina Rodionova, representing Australia, 6-2, 6-3 to reach the quarters in the opening round of Sydney International yesterday.
