The duo of Sania Mirza and Cara Black has sealed a semifinal berth at the WTA Rogers Cup in Montreal. In a lop-sided quarter-final contest, the fourth seeded Indo-Zimbabwean pair knocked out the sixth seeded American team of Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. Sania and Cara next face formidable second seeded combination of Su-Wei Hsieh from Taipei and Shuai Peng from China. Sania and Cara have not beatenSu-Wei and Shuai in three meetings this season so far. They had lost to them at French Open, Madrid event, and also in the final of the Indian Wells tournament.
