The Indo-Zimbabwean pair of Sania Mirza and Cara Black has reached the quarterfinals of the WTA Italian Open tennis tournament. In the second round of the event in Rome today, the fifth seeded pair recorded a 6-3 6-4 win over Daniela Hantuchova and Mirjana Lucic-Baroni. However, the Indo-Pak combination of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi bowed out of the ATP Rome Masters. In the second round, the unseeded pair lost to top seeded American brothers Mike and Bob Bryan in straight sets 5-7, 1-6.
