Indian tennis players Sania Mirza, Rohan Bopanna and Leander Paes will be in action on fifth Day of the US Open, today. Sania and Bopanna will play their respective mixed doubles matches, while Paes will be see in action in the men's doubles fixture. The defending champions Sania and Brazil's Bruno Soares were seeded number one in the mixed doubles. The Indo-Brazilian pair will face Lukas Kubot and Andrea Hlavackova.In another mixed doubles match, Bopanna who has been seeded second in the mixed doubles will play against the pairing of Verdasco and Belinda Bencic with his partner Yung-Jan Chan from Chinese Taipei. In the men's doubles fixture Paes, with Spaniard Fernando Verdasco, will clash with the American pair of Steve Johnson and Sam Querrey in the second round. The Serena Williams juggernaut rolled into the third round of the US Open today as the American world number one continues her bid to complete a rare calendar grand slam of the coveted singles titles. Aiming to become just the fourth woman to win all four slams in the same year, Williams will take on compatriot Bethanie Mattek-Sands in the first match of the evening at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Defending men's champion Marin Cilic of Croatia seeks to keep his run going in a third-round encounter with Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin while top-seeded Serb Novak Djokovic takes on Italian Andreas Seppi.
