Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma has said that his government is examining the issue of banning militant organization Garo National Liberation Army, GNLA. He was reacting to queries by reporters in this regard. The Chief Minister appealed to citizens of the state to support the government in its fight against such forces, which were against the spirit of democracy. He expressed confidence that the government would neutralise the outfit, which has unleashed a reign of terror in the Garo Hills.
