The BJP-backed presidential candidate PA Sangma has filed his nomination papers for the post of President today . Chief ministers of Odisha Naveen Patnaik, his Punjab counterpart Prakash Singh Badal along with top BJP leaders including LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh were present on the occasion. Earlier Addressinmg a news conference before filing his nomination, Mr Sangma said a tribal leader is filing the documents for the country’s top constitutional post which is a victory for tribals in the country.
