The number of people confirmed dead after a devastating tsunami in Samoa and neighbouring American Samoa and Tonga has risen to 184.According to the Samoan government search and rescue operations continue for the six remaining missing persons. It said to date there are 143 confirmed deaths. A disaster management official in neighbouring American Samoa confirmed the toll there remained at 32 with two missing. Another nine people were killed in the tsunami on Niuatoputapu Island in the far north of Tonga.
