The Samajwadi party has decided to send Amar Singh to Rajya Sabha. While announcing the party candidates for Rajya Sabha membership Party leader and state Cabinet Minister Shiv Pal Singh Yadav announced seven names including Amar Singh in Lucknow today. Amar Singh closed to Mulayam Singh was expelled from SP for six years. The other six names are recently rejoined Samajwadi party former Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma , Revati Raman Singh, Vishawmbhar Prasad Nishad, Sukhram Singh Yadav, Arvind Pratap Singh and Lucknow based builder Sanjay Seth. <br/><br/>According to reports, earlier in the party Parliamentary Board meeting in Lucknow inclusion of Amar Singh name was heatedly debated and two senior leaders Ram Gopal Yadav and Azam Khan opposed his name. Later it was decided that party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav would take final decision on this issue. The Party also announced the list of 8 names for Membership of Legislative Council. Names of Shatrudh Prakash, Balram Yadav, Jagjivan Prasad are in the list.
