Law Minister Salman Khurshid on Tuesday favoured reaching out to the Opposition on priority basis on the Lokpal issue. He also said, allies also need to be brought on board on the issue. He dismissed suggestions that Trinamool Congress is a difficult alliance partner. While participating in a TV Programme, he called for developing interlocutors for better communication with Trinamool Congress.

On the issue of Opposition over FDI in multi-brand retail, the Minister agreed that it would require a lot of homework and further dialogue before coming to any decision. He also hoped that the results to the five Assembly elections will help the Congress come out of the malaise.
