Law Minister Salman Khurshid criticized BJP President Nitin Gadkari who had alleged that the judiciary was being misused by the government. Talking to the media in New Delhi on Tuesday, Mr Khurshid said, by questioning the judiciary, the BJP chief had questioned the integrity of a democratic institution known for its impartiality. He added that there is a system in place and nobody could raise a finger at the judiciary.
Earlier Mr Gadkari had alleged that the CBI and judiciary were being misused by the government to blackmail opposition leaders stating that many such acts were coming to light.
