In Tennis, Saketh Myneni was the only Indian to progress to the second round of the Vietnam Open in the Ho Chi Minh City today. Three others lost in the first round. Fourth seed Myneni, who has become the second highest ranked Indian in singles at 168, beat Spain's unseeded Gerard Granollers 6-4 ,7-6 in the first round of the ATP Hard Court Challenger event. Sumit Nagal and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan , however, bowed out after suffering first round defeats while Sanam Singh's match was suspended due to rain.
