Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that saints of India have tied the world together by emboldening the sentiment of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'. Addressing the inaugural function of Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav in Ahmedabad, Mr Modi said that Indian saintly traditions are not just limited to the propagation of culture, creed, ethics and ideology. He said that Indian saints went beyond narrow sects and worked to strengthen the notion of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and unite the world.<br />'' <br />'' Highlighting the emotion of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', which has been established by the great saints of India including Swami Maharaj who propagated it even further, the Prime Minister said that the journey from Ved to Vivekananda can be witnessed today in this centenary celebration.<br />'' <br />'' Addressing a huge gathering of devotees, the Prime Minister said Pramukh Swami Maharaj touched countless lives all over the world with his impeccable service, humility, and wisdom. He recalled fond memories of Pramukh Swami Maharaj and his message of service to humanity. He said Pramukh Swami believed in service of mankind and used to say that ultimate goal of everyone's life should be 'seva.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Modi said that this grand event will not only attract the world but also will inspire and impact the coming generations.<br />'' <br />'' Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, BAPS Head Mahant Swami were present on the occasion.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that huge 'Pramukh Swami Nagar' has been established over 600 acres of land near Ognaj in Ahmedabad. A grand celebration&nbsp;will take place from today to till 15th of January next year. Seven large decorative gateways, 30 feet tall idol of Pramukh Swami, a replica of Delhi Akshardham, glow garden, exhibition pavilions, and Bal Nagari for kids are among the main attractions of Pramukh Swami Nagar.<br />'' <br />'' More than 80 thousand volunteers are working tirelessly to make this event a success.<br />'' <br />''Lakhs of devotees from across the world, global delegates, and political and business leaders are expected to participate in the month-long celebrations.
