Kyrgyzstan authorities says, the suicide bomber in the Saint Petersburg metro was a Kyrgyz national. Spokesman for the country's security services told AFP that they have identified the attacker as Akbarjon Djalilov. 14 people were killed and dozens injured in an explosion yesterday that went off in a tunnel between two metro stations in Saint Petersburg. <br/>'<br/><br/>World leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have condemned the attack in the subway of Russia's second city of Saint Petersburg. In a tweet, Mr Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives due to the blast. He extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.<br/>'<br/><br/>US President, Donald Trump,in a telephone conversation with Russian President, Vladimir Putin extended deep condolences and offered assistance in fighting terrorism. European Union Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini said, Europe's thoughts were with the Russian people.<br/>'<br/><br/>In a unanimous statement, the 15-member United Nations Security Council called for the perpetrators of the attack to face justice. Authorities in Saint Petersburg have declared three days of mourning for the victims.
