World number one Saina Nehwal will lock horns with reigning Olympic Champion China's Xuerui Li in the semi-finals of the Malaysia Open Badminton tournament at Kuala Lumpur today. In the quarterfinals Friday, while Saina defeated Sun Yu, world number three Li beat compatriot Yihan Wang. AIR correspondent reports that Li and Saina have met 10 times in the past, with the Chinese winning 8 of those games. They last met in the BWF World Championships at Copenhagen last year where Li got the better of Saina, 21-15, 21-15. Saina's two victories against the Chinese came in the Singapore Open in 2010, and Indonesia Open in 2012.
