Saina Nehwal has reached the semi finals in women singles of the Indian Open Super Series Badminton. She defeated Hana Ramadhini of Indonesia in straight sets 21 – 15, 21-12 in quarterfinal in Sri Fort Complex in New Delhi today. H. S. Prannoy is out of the tournament. Victor Axelsen of Denmark beat Prannoy 16-21, 21-9, 21-18 in the men's quarterfinal. R. N. V. Gurusaidutt has also crashed out of the tournament. Xue Song of China beat him 16-21, 16-18, 21-13 in the men's quarterfinal. The men's quarterfinal match between K.Srikant and Takama Veda of Japan will start in a short while from now. All India Radio will broadcast the final match of the tournament to be played on 29th March, Sunday. It will be heard F.M.Rainbow channel between 1430 hrs to 1900 hrs or till the end of the game.
