In Malaysian Masters Badminton, Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth are among the seven Indian shuttlers who will play their first-round matches in Kuala Lumpur today.

In Women's Singles, Saina, seeded seventh, will take on Hong Kong's Deng Xuan. Olympic Silver medalist PV Sindhu is not taking part in the tournament.

In Men's Singles, Srikanth, also placed seventh, will face Angus Ka Long of Hong Kong, while Parupalli Kashyap who qualified to the main draw yesterday will clash with Dane Rasmus Gemke.

The Mixed Doubles pair of N. Sikki Reddy and Pranaav Jerry Chopra, and the Women's Doubles team, featuring Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa will also begin their campaigns today.
