Saina has been seeded second in the Women's singles category and will open her campaign against unseeded Scottish player Kirsty Gilmour tonight at Anaheim, United States. Apart from Saina, Rituparna Das, Ruthvika Shivani, Sri Krishna Priya and Sai Uttejita Rao Chukka and Reshma Karthik are the other Indian women's singles shuttlers in the fray.Over in Men's singles event, HS Prannoy is the torch bearer of Indian team. Seeded second, Prannoy will open his campaign against Luka Wraber of Denmark while fifth seed Sameer Verma will play against Vietnamese Hoang Nam Nguyen tonight.
