In French Open Badminton, Indian pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty today defeated French pair of  Christo Popov and Toma Junior Popov in the Men's doubles at Paris today.

The Indian pair lost the first game 19-21 but they bounced back to beat the French pair in the next games 21-9, 21-13.    

In the Women's Singles, Saina Nehwal will clash with Yvonee Li of Germany tonight.

Earlier, India did not start at a good note as Indian pair of Ishan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto lost to Japanese pair of Naru Shinoya and Kyohei Yamashita 13-21, 16-21 in the mixed doubles at Paris today. In the Women's doubles, Treesa Jolly and Gayathri Gopichand also lost to Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai of Thailand 21-23, 20-22.  

Indian shuttlers Lakshay Sen and Kidambi Srikanth to clash in the men's singles opening round match in Paris tomorrow. The top two Indians in world ranking at 8th and 11th respectively will clash for the second time in their career.

Two other Indian Players Sameer Verma will meet Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia and HS Prannoy will take on Liew Daren of Malaysia in their first-round matches tomorrow.
