Saina Nehwal has entered the semifinal of the Women's Singles in the World Badminton Championships being held in Jakarta. In the quarterfinals this evening, Saina beat Yihan Wang of China 21-15, 19-21, 21-19. In the semifinals, Saina will face Indonesia's Lindaweni Fanetri. Earlier, today PV Sindhu lost in the quarterfinal. In the women's doubles quarterfinal, the Indian pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa also lost.
