Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal has bowed out of the BWF World Super Series Final badminton tournament. In the women's singles semi-final in Dubai on Saturday, she lost to Chinese Taipei's Tai Tzu Ying. World No. 4 Saina had a very good start in the first game but Tai produced an array of deceptive drop shots and combated Saina's smashes with sharp net play to win the match 11-21, 21-13 21-9 in 55-minutes. With this win, Tai improved her one-on-one career record to 4-5, while Saina closed her Superseries season with a 37-11 win-loss record. In men's category, reigning World champion Chinese Chen Long defeated India's Kidambi Srikanth in straight games 21-18, 21-9 in the semi-finals.
