Ace shuttler and three-times champion Saina Nehwal has entered to the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Open Super Series Premier Badminton Championship in Jakarta yesterday. Eight seed Saina defeated World No. 53 and local favourite Fitriani Fitriani 21-11, 21-10 in the second round of women's singles competition.Lone Indian survivor Saina is likely to take on top seed Carolina Marin of Spain in the last eight in Jakarta. Saina had won the title in 2009, 2010 and 2012. However, India's doubles shuttlers failed to make an impact as both the women's and men's pairs of Jwala-Ashwini and Manu-Sumeeth suffered contrasting defeats yesterday.In women's doubles, 2010 Commonwealth Games champions Jwala and Ashwini lost 9-21 , 18-21 to Chinese combo of Huang Yaqiong and Tang Jinhua. In men's doubles, World No. 20 Manu and Sumeeth went down 18-21 , 13-21 to sixth seeded Korean Ko Sung Hyun and Shin Baek Cheol.
