Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal defeated Juliane Schenk of Germany in the last women's singles Group B match of the BWF World Super Series Finals in Shenzhen, China on Friday. World Number four Saina beat second seeded Schenk 21-7, 21-18 in straight sets. With this victory, Saina has revived her hopes of booking a semi-final berth in the tournament which will ultimately depend on results of women singles matches in other groups. Saina had to face defeat in her opening two outings.
