India's shuttle queen Saina Nehwal will today lock horns with Carolina Marin of Spain in the title clash of the All England Open Badminton Championships at Birmingham. World number three Saina had yesterday scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman to reach the finals of the tournament. She defeated an unseeded Chinese Sun Yu, 21-13, 21-13. On the other hand, sixth seed Carolina beat Tai Tzu Zing of Chinese Taipie, 21-18, 21-11.Our correspondent reports that if Saina wins today, she will join Prakash Padukone and her former coach P. Gopichand, the two Indian Badminton legends who have bagged this prestigious title in the past.
