India's shuttle queen Saina Nehwal has crashed out of the Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold Badminton tournament in Basel. In the semi-finals yesterday, top seeded Saina lost to lower-placed Yihan Wang of China in straight games, 11-21, 19-21. This was Yihan's 10th victory over Saina, with the ace Indian shuttler winning just 4 games against the Chinese.In the Men's section, unseeded HS Prannoy stormed into the Final yesterday beating Tzu Wei Wang of Chinese Taipei, 12-21, 21-14, 23-21. He will play for the title today against the seventh seed German, Marc Zwiebler.
