London Olympics bronze medallist Saina Nehwal crashed out of the India Super Series after suffering a straight-game defeat against world number two Yihan Wang of China in the quarterfinals of the women's singles competition at the Siri Fort complex in New Delhi today. The world number eight Saina went down 16-21, 14-21 to Yihan in 39 minutes. It was her eighth defeat to the Chinese.Earlier, Parupalli Kashyap had entered the quarter-finals of the men's singles, defeating compatriot Gurusaidutt 21-15, 16-21, 21-11 in a Round 2 encounter.India's challenge in doubles competition has already ended as fifth seeded Chinese women Qing Tian and Yunlei Zhao got past India's Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa 21-13, 21-19.
