Indian challenge in the French Open Badminton Super Series in Paris is over. Fourth seed Saina Nehwal crashed out of the tournament after Chinese Xuerui Li on Thursday defeated her in the pre-quarter final of the women's singles event 21-18, 30-29. Saina had earlier lost in the second round last week at the Denmark Open Series. The pair of Jawala Gutta and Ashwini Ponappa earlier lost in the Women's doubles in French Open when they were defeated in just 27 minutes by sixth seed Korean duo Jung Yun Ha and Minh Jung Kim 21-13, 21-12. In men's singles event, Ajay Jairam was defeated by Sixth seed Jin Chen of China 21-19, 21-14.
