Saina Mirza & Ivan Dodig lose in Australian Open mixed doubles final

In Australian Open Tennis, American-Colombian duo of Abigail Spears and Juan Sebastian Cabal defeated Indo-Croatian pair of Sania Mirza and Ivan Dodig in Mixed doubles final. The American-Colombian pair faced no challenge from the Indo-Croatian team as they won the Mixed doubles title in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 today. In men's singles final, Roger Federer will face old rival Rafael Nadal in the summit clash at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne this afternoon. Federer and Nadal each had survived epic five-set matches in their respective semifinals. Nadal will be eyeing his 15th Grand Slam title when he plays the men's singles final today. If Federer wins, he will add an 18th Grand Slam trophy to his career record total. Federer has never beaten Nadal at the Australian Open in their three previous meetings.
