In Badminton, PV Sindhu today bowed out of the Asia Championships at Wuhan in China. Sindhu lost her second round game against eighth seed, Tai Tzu Zing of Chinese Taipei, 21-13, 20-22, 8-21. However, fifth placed, Saina Nehwal progressed to the quarterfinals after beating Nitchaon Jindapol of Thailand in straight games, 21-14, 21-18. Saina is, now, the lone Indian left in the tournament.
