India Ace Shuttler and World no. 3 Saina Nehwal has entered the Women's Singles Semifinals of the French Open Super Series Badminton tournament in Paris. Last night, the Olympic Bronze medalist Saina defeated world number 10 Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand in the quarterfinals 22-20, 22-20 in straight games. This was the fifth encounter between the two shuttlers and Saina extended her record to 4-1 against Intanon. The 22-year from Hyderabad is on course for her second successive title after her Denmark Open triumph last week.
