Saina crashes out of Indian Open Badminton

India's ace shuttler Saina Nehwal has crashed out of the India Open Super Series Badminton tournament, taking place at the Sirifort Sports Complex in New Delhi. In the pre-quarterfinals of the Women's Singles category, third seeded Saina yesterday lost to the unseeded South Korean player Youn Joo Bae in straight games, 19-21, 10-21. Meanwhile, PV Sindhu, another Indian in the Women's Singles section, yesterday advanced into the quarterfinals of the event.Other Indian shuttlers, who have qualified to the quarterfinals include, the duo of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa in the Women's Doubles, the pair of Rupesh Kumar KT and Sanave Thomas in the Men's Doubles and Kashyap Parupalli in the Men's Singles category.
