Defending champion Saina Nehwal has advanced to the semi-finals of the Indonesian Open Super Series badminton tournament. In the quarter-final in Jakarta today, Saina registered a hard-fought 21-19, 21-19 win over eighth seeded Tine Baun of Denmark.The fourth seeded Indian will now face Chinese Taipei's Shao Chieh Cheng in the semifinals tomorrow.Unseeded Shao created an upset by beating seventh seed Xin Liu 21-17, 21-15 in another quarterfinal match.
