The Steel Authority of India, SAIL will sponsor all medal winners of the London Olympics for the next Olympics to be held in 2016 at Rio De Janeiro. This was announced by the Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma in New Delhi today. He was speaking at a felicitation function of Medal winners in London Olympic 2012. Mr Verma said SAIL had sponsored two wrestlers- Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt for London Olympic. Sushil Kumar won silver while Yogeshwar Dutt bronze medal. The Minister also presented cheques to the players. 25 lakh rupees each were given to Sushil Kumar and Vijay Kumar. Both have won silver medal. Yogeshwar Dutt, Gagan Narang, M C Mary Com and Saina Nehwal received 20 lakh rupees each for bronzemedals.
