Hit by costlier raw material and forex loss, state-run, Steel Authority of India Ltd. reported on Monday 43 per cent year-on-year dip in its third quarter net profit, at 632 crore rupees. Total income of the company declined to 10,729 crore rupees, against 11,280 crores a year earlier. A weaker rupee also negatively impacted the steel makers' bottom line to the tune of 466 crore rupees during the reporting quarter.
