The SAIL Hockey Academy run by Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has won the Tata Steel Hockey Tournament. In the match played on Friday, the SAIL side recorded an emphatic 3-0 win over the Central Excellence team of Panposh Sports Hostel at Sundargarh.Aisam Lakra scored two of the goals, while the other came through Micheal Barla. In all eight teams from the region participated in the tournament.The Hockey academy since its inception in 1992, is honouring the talent of the youth of this region, for whom hockeyis more a way of life than mere game.
