Steel Authority of india-SAIL on Thursday said it has achieved the best-ever July-September quarter sales. The sales was 3.17 million tonnes on account of higher intake by the construction and manufacturing sectors. A statement issued by the company says the company achieved a growth of 30.8 per cent. SAIL said the sale of wire rods during the period increased by 60 per cent, compared to the corresponding period last year besides higher sales of other products like bars, sheets and coils also witnessed.
