Reigning Champions India have defeated Pakistan 1-0 in their first match of the SAIF Football Championship. At Dashrath stadium in Kathmandu, a self goal by Pakistan in the 14th minute decided the fate of the losers. In the opener of the tournament, Nepal beat Bangladesh 2-nil.
