The meeting of South Asia Initiative to End Violence Against Children, SAIEVAC began in New Delhi today.<br/><br/>Women and Child Development Secretary V Somasundaran inaugurated the opening session.<br/><br/>The three day meeting will set strategies and agree on commitments to ensure the protection and security of children of the region.<br/><br/>During the first two day, technical consultation will be held focusing on critical issues of child protection and violence. <br/><br/>It will also bring forward the recommendations of Sustainable Development Goals. <br/><br/>The 4th Ministerial Meeting SAIEVAC will be held on Wednesday. Home Minister Rajnath Singh will deliver a keynote address on the ocasion. <br/><br/>Delegates from Governments and Civil Society organizations of SAARC countries are participating in the meeting.<br/><br/>
