In Badminton, Sai Praneeth today lifted his first Superseries title, as he battled past Kidambi Srikanth to win the Singapore Open. Praneeth won the first All India Super Series Final at Singapore, 17-21, 21-17, 21-12 to bag his second international trophy overall. It was the sixth meeting between the two Indian shuttlers, and with the win, Praneeth has extended his head-to-head record against Srikanth to 5-1.The Women's Singles title clash between Carolina Marin and Tai Tzu-Ying of Chinese Taipei is underway. Marin had defeated PV Sindhu in the quarter-finals.
