Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahay has called for developing quality tourism infrastructure at identified tourist destinations. This can be done through convergence of resources of various union ministries and State Governments.Inaugurating a national workshop in New Delhi today he said that wellness tourism is a global trend for the health conscious consumers. Underlining the importance of safe and dignified tourism he said initiatives will be taken to ensure that Indian Tourism follows international standards of safe tourism practices.
