Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahai has called for promoting ethnic tourism in the country. Inaugurating the 25th edition of Surajkund Crafts Mela at Faridabad in Haryana on Tuesday, Mr Sahai said that fairs like this, project the country's rich cultural heritage in a proper perspective.AIR correspondent reports, craftsmen and artists from across the country will display their traditional handlooms and handicrafts during the 15 day event. Artists from SAARC nation are also participating in the fair. Apart from arts and crafts, people can savour a wide variety of regional cuisines and enjoy folk dances at the fair. Andhra Pradesh is the theme state, while Uzbekistan is the partner country at this year's edition.
